Kensington Protective Products recently presented SmartPak with a donation in the amount of $5,000 to support the National Breast Cancer Foundation under the auspices of the SmartPink Program. This latest donation brings the total contribution to the national foundation to over $25,000 through the sale of SmartPink plaid products. SmartPak donates 10% of profits from all SmartPink sales.
“The SmartPink program has been a phenomenal success and we are thrilled with this donation to the National Breast Cancer Foundation,” said Becky Minard, founder and vice president of marketing for SmartPak. “Our partnership with Kensington on the SmartPink line has been a wonderful experience. Facilitating this and future donations on their behalf is a great honor.”
The personal donation from Alan Gatto, president of Kensington Protective Products, and Terri Schulte, a National Sales Representative for the company, is just the beginning of Kensington’s commitment to provide on-going support. The company plans to continue their involvement with an annual donation based on the growth of the SmartPink program.
“Both Terri and I were touched by the response of customer letters and phone calls resulting from our involvement with SmartPink,” said Gatto. “Looking ahead, we want to make an even greater contribution through SmartPink to support the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
