A public meeting is scheduled for tonight, May 9, at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington to explain the Kentucky Equine Education Project’s (KEEP) mission and goals for 2006 and beyond, as well as ask for important input from the local horse industry.

The meeting will be in the South Theater of the Welcome Center beginning at 6:00 p.m. Representatives from KEEP will be available to talk with individuals about the issues facing Kentucky’s equine economy. Everyone is invited to attend, and children are welcome too. For more information about this meeting or KEEP call the office locally at 859/259-0007 or toll free 866/771-5337. You can also visit KEEP’s web site at www.horseswork.com. KEEP was formed in May 2004 to promote and protect Kentucky’s horse industry.
