Sometimes all you can do is laugh. Such was the case last week during a lesson when DoradoÑfresh off his winter breakÑspent equal amounts of time on the ground and in the air, bursting with energy.

“Some horses just don’t know they’re old,” my trainer proclaimed as Dorado stuck his tail in the air and snorted as another rider turned her horse out in the pasture next to the arena.
