A few weeks ago I had a conversation with one of the girls that cares for Dorado at his boarding barn that went something like this:

Her: “I tried to put (Horse X’s) halter on Dorado today to bring him in. He sniffed it and turned his head around so I couldn’t get it on. He literally would not let me put it on! So I went and grabbed his, he sniffed it, and put his head right into it!”

Me, laughing: “Yeah, he’s kind of set in his waysÉhe’s very particular. It’s like the whole hay rack versus haynet debacle
