Ray M. Kaplan, DVM, PhD, Dipl. ACVIM, EVPC, is a professor of parasitology in the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine’s Department of Infectious Diseases. He served on the 2013 American Association of Equine Practitioner’s Parasite Control Guidelines subcommittee.

Nathan Voris, DVM, MBA, is a senior veterinarian with Zoetis’ equine technical services team. He completed his internship at Rood & Riddle Equine Hospital, in Lexington, Ky., and spent 10 years as an associate veterinarian with Equine Medical Services in Columbia, Mo. His primary interest areas include preventive equine medicine and social media.
