The International Racing Bureau informed Lone Star Park officials that the main charter shipment for horses competing in the Breeders’ Cup World Thoroughbred Championships has been provisionally booked to arrive in Dallas on Monday, Oct. 25. About 10 European-based horses are known to be seriously considering a try in one of eight championship races worth $14 million to be run at the Grand Prairie, Texas racetrack on Oct. 30.

“The majority will come in on that flight, which will originate at Beauvais outside of Paris,” said Alastair Donald, managing director of the International Racing Bureau. “There will be a stop at one of the London-area airports to pick up any British contenders, then it’s direct into Dallas.”
