Mike Rea worked as a racehorse trainer at Fair Hill in Elkton, Md. A riding accident in June this year resulted in brain injury and ongoing disability. Like many people working in the horse industry, Mike did not have insurance. There is now a petition to give the Rea family a home makeover by ABC’s Extreme Makeover Home Edition, to make their home wheelchair accessible.
