Scott Hopper, DVM, MS, Dipl. ACVS, is a 1993 graduate of the University of Wisconsin College of Veterinary Medicine and a shareholder at Rood & Riddle Equine Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. He completed a one year hospital internship at Rood & Riddle in 1994, followed by a surgical residency at Washington State College of Veterinary Medicine in 1997. He became board certified in surgery in 1999. His interests include performance and sport horse lameness.
