Fascinating info from Dr. Pagan @kyequine on a pilot study of event horses: Conventional wisdom is if you get a horse too fit, you get a high (bad) dressage score. Horses w/ low V200s (heart rates reached 200 bpm at a lower speed, so less fit) actually had higher dressage scores
