Louisiana Pair Arrested in Horse Thefts

Donna Greenwell and Christopher Rocio were arrested and each charged each with felony livestock theft. If convicted, they could face both fines and jail time.

A man and woman are facing felony charges in connection with a pair of horse theft cases in Louisiana.

Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry (LDAF) Livestock Brand Commission investigators, along with personnel from the Rapides Parish and St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Departments, responded to a pair of unrelated complaints alleging that horses were stolen and later sold at local livestock markets. 

Following full investigations, authorities arrested Donna Greenwell on Oct. 23 and Christopher Rocio on Nov. 8 and charged each with felony livestock theft. If convicted, they could face both fines and jail time
