The Horse: Your Guide to Equine Health’s Facebook fans have selected Kimberly Foster’s photo of “Opus” as the winner of our 2021 “Itchy Horse Challenge” contest. She will receive a prize pack from Kinetic Vet valued at more than $200 for her winning entry.

We asked readers to share photos of their itchy steeds and explain why their horse or pony would benefit from a tub of EquiShield SA powder. TheHorse.com’s Facebook fans voted for their favorites.

In her entry, Foster said: “Opus became extremely itchy this June after a reaction to something. He was itching himself raw all over. He was put on steroids, antibiotics, and Kinetic vet medicated wash and salve. He is now on antihistamine for the itching. Would absolutely love to give the SA powder a try for him!”
