Nicola Pusterla, PhD, Dipl. ACVIM, AVDC-Equine, is a professor of equine internal medicine and dentistry at the University of California, Davis, School of Veterinary Medicine. He graduated from the University of Zurich, in Switzerland, and earned his PhD with an emphasis on vector-borne diseases. Pusterla’s professional and research interests include equine internal medicine and dentistry, with a focus on equine infectious diseases, including epidemiology, diagnostics, prevention, and treatment.
