A Nevada woman is facing multiple animal cruelty counts after Clark County authorities removed more than 30 horses from her ranch near Las Vegas.

Dan Kulin, of the Clark County Office of Communications, said that on July 15, personnel from the county's animal control department confiscated 36 horses from the Sagebrush Ranch. Its website states that Sagebrush Ranch provides riding lessons, horses for hire, and a summer riding camp for children.

Court documents indicate that all the seized horses were allegedly maltreated and in need of dental, veterinary, and farrier care. Three horses were euthanized due to their condition, Kulin said. Of the remaining live horses 32 have been rehomed, Kulin said.

“We still have one horse in our care,” Kulin said
