- Topics: Article
Lane's End Farm announced Nov. 29 that Jerry and Ann Moss' now-retired champion Zenyatta will make an appearance at Keeneland upon her arrival in Kentucky.
The mare, who won 19 of 20 starts and earned more than $7.3 million, is scheduled to arrive in Lexington from California at approximately 3:45 p.m. (ET) on Dec. 6. She will then be vanned the short distance from Lexington's airport to Keeneland, where she will be paraded in the paddock at approximately 4:15 p.m. The public is invited to see her before she is then vanned to Lane's End near Versailles, Ky., according to the release.
Once at the farm, fans wanting to visit Zenyatta will need to check the Zenyatta or Lane's End websites "to see what her schedule might be while she is preparing for her second career as a broodmare," the release said.
