The affected gelding is reportedly recovering.
The unvaccinated filly was euthanized.
The undervaccinated gelding was euthanized.
Horses in Klamath, Malheur, and Baker counties were affected.
Both horses are reported as recovering.
The mare’s vaccination history is unknown.
The positive horse was humanely euthanized.
The vaccination status of all three horses is unknown.
The most recent two affected horses were euthanized due to the severity of their clinical signs.
Nine horses in three counties are confirmed positive for West Nile virus.
The horses reside at separate facilities in Pulaski County.
The affected horse was not vaccinated against the mosquito-borne disease.
Thirty-one horses were exposed and their Washington County facility is now under quarantine.
The unvaccinated mare was subsequently euthanized.
The affected horses reside in two different counties.
