Hagyard Equine Medical Institute, based in Lexington, Kentucky, will have veterinarians onsite for the 2015 Winter Equestrian Festival, taking place in Wellington, Florida.

A Hagyard Sport Horse team headed by Courtney Wittich, DVM, will be available for both routine and emergency veterinary care in the Wellington area from Jan. 4 to March 31.

Specializing in equine sports medicine and emergency care, Wittich has advanced training in lameness imaging and treatment techniques. A graduate of The Ohio State University School of Veterinary Medicine, Wittich completed a sport horse internship at Hagyard before continuing her career in a practice servicing sport horse clients in Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, and Florida. She rejoined Hagyard in 2014.
