Temperatures are rising, the grass is getting greener, and trees and flowers are blooming, which can only mean one thing—spring is finally here! In last week’s online poll, we asked our readers what gives them the biggest case of horse-related spring fever. More than 550 people responded, and we’ve tallied the results!

Of the 577 respondents, 294 (51%) said trail riding gives them the biggest case of spring fever, while 73 (13%) are excited about the upcoming show season. Another 73 respondents (13%) chose getting organized and spring cleaning, while 59 (10%) said they are most excited about new foals this spring. Fifteen respondents (3%) selected breeding for next year’s foal, and the remaining 63 respondents (11%) said other horse-related things give them spring fever.
