LSU Equine Center Releases Fifth Research Report
The Louisiana State University (LSU) School of Veterinary Medicine (SVM) Equine Health Studies Program (EHSP) has released its fifth research report, according to a June 18 statement from the college. The report chronicles and reviews research conducted from 2008 through 2010.
The 68-page report includes abstracts and publications by EHSP students and faculty; grants received from 2008 to 2010; a faculty listing; information about the EHSP facilities and equipment; and a list of textbook chapters penned by EHSP faculty.
The report also contains more detailed information about research in the following areas: biomechanics and orthopedics, stem cells and regenerative medicine, laminitis, gastrointestinal medicine, disaster response, and surgery.
