Pennsylvania Horse Burning Case Probed

Law enforcement authorities in Pennsylvania are seeking those responsible for dousing a horse with an unknown accelerant then setting the animal ablaze.
A spokesman for the Pennsylvania State Police Troop E in Crawford County said the incident occurred sometime between 7 p.m. on Aug. 25 and 6 p.m. on Aug. 26 in Athens Township. The animal survived but sustained superficial burns and singeing over most of his body, the spokesman said. .
