The 2012 Hagyard Bluegrass Equine Symposium will take place Nov. 1-4 in Lexington, Ky. This year, the symposium will focus on "the latest techniques and topics for the reproduction veterinarian."

Thursday, Friday, and Saturday will feature lectures covering a variety of topics also beneficial to reproductive specialists and horse breeders including, but not limited to, controlling estrus in the mare, athletic prognosis for placentitis foals, and managing stallions with poor libido. On Sunday attendees will participate in hands-on wet lab sessions at the University of Kentucky’s Maine Chance Farm, also in Lexington.

Reporters from The Horse will be attending the conference to provide in-depth coverage of select lectures. Watch TheHorse.com in the coming weeks for related articles.
