Rood & Riddle Equine Hospital and Alltech will host a sport horse health symposium for horse owners in conjunction with the Alltech National Horse Show Nov. 1, beginning at 5 p.m. EDT. The session will take place at Pearse’s Place at the Alltech Arena at the Kentucky Horse Park, in Lexington.

A brief "happy hour" will take place, starting at 5 p.m., before a welcome at 5:15. Two sessions will follow, beginning at 5:30. Chris Newton, DVM, a partner and ambulatory practitioner at Rood & Riddle, will present "Diagnostics and Therapies for the Modern Sport Horse," followed by Scott Morrison, DVM, head of the clinic’s podiatry department, discussing "Problems of the Hoof Wall."
