Hurricane Sandy threatened to ground East Coast-based presenters and participants of the 2012 International Equine Conference on Laminitis and Diseases of the Hoof (IECLDH) this past weekend.

Fortunately, said IECLDH Co-Director James Orsini, DVM, of University of Pennsylvania’s New Bolton Center, everyone made it to Monterey, Calif., in time for the two-day conference dedicated to educating veterinarians, farriers, and owners about laminitis, general podiatry, diagnostics, and treatments.
