Reward Offered for Information on Texas Horse Shooting
- Topics: Article, Disaster Recovery
Law enforcement authorities in Texas are hoping the offer of a cash reward will lead to information about who is responsible for the shooting death of horse in Parker County.
Sheriff Larry Fowler said the horse’s owner contacted the Parker County Sheriff’s Department on July 17 after finding the animal dead in its pasture. The 14-year-old Quarter Horse had sustained a gunshot wound to the neck, Fowler said.
A $1,000 reward is offered for information leading to the arrest and/or indictment of whoever is responsible for the shooting. Anyone with information about the incident should call the Parker County Sheriff’s Office at 817/594-8845 or the Parker County Crime Stoppers Hotline at 817/599-5555. Callers may remain anonymous.
