Two donkeys and a horse were among 311 animals seized from the Clean Slate Animal Rescue in Columbia, Ky., according to an article on kentucky.com.


The article stated that the owner of the rescue has been charged with 195 counts of second degree animal cruelty, with more charges pending.


Dead animals were found in with the living during the seizure. Condition of the animals was reported to be fair to very poor.


The article noted that the rescue group originally was located in in Estacada, Ore.,and moved to Kentucky in March 2007
