A developer in Syracuse plans to build luxury homes alongside 42 horse stalls, riding trails, and indoor and outdoor arenas.

Homes in the Island View Equine Ranches subdivision will cost about $860,000 and have easy access to Antelope Island, said developer Lonny Adams of Barn Guys LLC.

“The horse people love to ride Antelope Island,” he said. The horse amenities will be part of the price of each of the 14 homes in the subdivision, Adams said.

The Syracuse City Council has approved a sketch plan for the subdivision and construction is scheduled to begin in May
