That’s what some folks are calling the 32-foot-high rearing Blue Mustang sculpture outside the Denver International Airport. Created by New Mexico artist Luis Jimnez, the fiberglass (anatomically correct) stallion certainly has people taking notice–including the New York Times.
Rachel Hultin, a real-estate broker, started a Facebook group called "The DIA’s Heinous Blue Mustang Has Got To Go" at byebyebluemustang.com to gather those opposed to the work. As I’m writing this, the group, which was established Jan. 11, has 10,043 members, 30 discussion topics, and 1,113 Wall posts.
Many of the comments are available in Haiku form (sweet!)
