The Horse: Your Guide To Equine Health announces that the American Association of Equine Veterinary Technicians and Assistants (AAEVT) has become its newest association of subscribers and is pleased to recognize the generous support of Intervet/Schering-Plough Animal Health for providing an individual subscription to The Horse for each of the AAEVT’s more than 1,000 members.

“The veterinarian technicians are an unsung group of professionals who play a critical role in supporting the equine veterinarian,” said Bret Whitehead, vice president of Intervet’s animal health division. “We felt that sponsoring subscriptions to The Horse was a way to help further educate an important ally in the equine veterinary healthcare industry. The Horse provides a great outlet for accessing equine health care information, and that helps makes these technicians better at their jobs.”
