ReRun, the nonprofit Thoroughbred adoption program, announced that it will hold its spring Moneigh eBay auction between May 3-10, featuring “Fabulous Fillies and Marvelous Mares.”

Fans always ask ‘Where are the girls?’ so this May we will be paying tribute to them,” said “Moneigh” Mary Simons who assists the equine artists in creating their handiwork.

The spring auction will include paintings by 2007 Belmont Champion Rags to Riches, 2008 Breeders’ Cup Ladies Classic winner Zenyatta, Serena’s Song, Our Mims, Bonnie’s Poker, Fleet Indian, Tall Glass O Water, Daijin, India, Pampered Princess, Runway Model, Lethal Heat, Passified, Foxysox, and more.

Each Moneigh is unique in style and color by the equine artists, who create the paintings using their noses, lips and tails. Most include a hoof print, lock of mane or tail, and brass name plate. Proceeds from the auction support ReRun’s adoption program which has chapters in New Jersey, New York, Kentucky and North Carolina
