Researchers at the University of Kentucky’s Gluck Equine Research Center are conducting a study to examine the rate of injury and illness in North American 2-year-old Thoroughbreds in training.

The project’s goal is to determine the rate of injuries in these young horses through early July 2018. Participants are asked to answer several questions weekly on all their 2-year-olds in training using an online survey system.

Any trainers interested in this project are encouraged to visit uky.az1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_0SV0vLsh20PXhRP for more information and an enrollment form.
