On Tuesday, June 19, renowned orthopedic surgeon Dean Richardson, DVM, Dipl. ACVS, will present “Stories About Horse Fractures,” as part of the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine (Penn Vet) New Bolton Center’s First Tuesday Lecture Series

Richardson is the Charles W. Raker Professor of Equine Surgery and Chief of Large Animal Surgery at New Bolton Center, and is board-certified by the American College of Veterinary Surgeons.

In his presentation, Richardson will discuss how fractures can occur in horses and review the parts of the equine skeleton most vulnerable to injury by sharing individual case presentations with happy endings
