AAEP Releases Racetrack Practitioners Directory

The American Association of Equine Practitioners (AAEP) has published a new directory of racetrack veterinarians. More than 700 AAEP members currently practicing at racetracks across the country are listed.

The American Association of Equine Practitioners (AAEP) has published a new directory of racetrack veterinarians. More than 700 AAEP members currently practicing at racetracks across the country are listed.


In addition to listing veterinarians, the new AAEP publication includes over 150 regulatory and state veterinarians from Canada and the United States. The directory also includes the AAEP’s current position statements and guidelines on issues including equine welfare, medication policies, racing and sales issues, and veterinary practices, as well as defining humane and ethical treatment of horses.
