Colorado reported one new vesicular stomatitis virus (VSV) investigation during the week ending Jan. 8, 1999. This new investigation and one investigation formerly pending were both negative. One formerly positive premises located in Larimer County was released from quarantine. Four VSV premises remain under quarantine in Colorado, all located in Larimer County.


This update reflects only the investigations in case positive states after the index case was reported.
