Six veterinary students were named as winners of the 1999 American Association of Equine Practitioners/American Live Stock Insurance Company scholarships during the AAEP’s Annual Convention in December.

Scholarships are in the amount of $1,500 each. Recipients are:




  • Terri Sue Bridgman, Kansas State University


  • David T. Cross, University of Missouri


  • Aimie J. Doyle, Atlantic Veterinary College, University of Prince Edward Island


  • Melissa McKee, Ontario Veterinary College


  • Shawn Williams, Mississippi State University


  • Chad J. Zubrod, Iowa State University

Veterinary students are nominated by their individual schools with supporting references from AAEP members and clinical instructors. The call for year 2000 scholarship applications will be issued in April. For more information, call Penny Mullinix in the AAEP office, 606/233-0147.
