1. Since my guys are in a closed herd, with no one coming in or going out, I do once a year in the spring. If I start trailering off property again, I will add a second round in the fall.

2. I wish there was an option for not vaccinating. Wild horses don’t need vaccines, and mine done either.

3. I vaccinate ‘as needed’. I don’t purchase the ‘need’ to vaccinate as often as recommended. Hyper vaccination can cause it’s own issues primarily because of reactions to the adjuvants and/or added ‘ingredients’. I have come to view the vaccine industry, especially in animals, as another for profit entity. I believe vaccine manufacturers should be held liable for adverse reactions that result from encouraging unnecessary over vaccination.
