When you have questions about your horse’s nutrition, where do you turn first? We posed this question to our online readers last week. More than 450 people responded, and we’ve tallied the results!

Of the 457 respondents, 139 (30%) said they go to their equine veterinarians first, while 94 (21%) said they ask an equine nutritionist. Another 93 respondents (20%) said they get their equine nutrition information from social media, online articles, and forums, whereas 86 individuals (19%) use print books, magazines or journals as their main source of information. The remaining 45 respondents (10%) said they get their equine nutrition information from other sources.
