Equine Dentistry Focus of Jan. KENA Meeting
At the first Kentucky Equine Networking Association (KENA) dinner meeting of 2013, Jack Easley, DVM, MS, Dipl. ABVP, a private practitioner from Equine Veterinary Practice LLC, in Shelbyville, Ky., will present on equine dentistry, including preventative dental care, diagnosis of diseases, and treatment options. The meeting will take place Jan. 24.
Doors open and networking begins at 5:30 p.m., and dinner will begin at 6:30 p.m. with two short presentations: a "Sponsor Spotlight" and a "Tips to Use" lecture.
The keynote presentation, "How to Care for Your Horse’s Teeth," with Easley begins at 7:30 p.m.
KENA is a program of the Kentucky Horse Council and the University of Kentucky Equine Initiative. It is an educational and networking dinner series for equine professionals in Kentucky, targeted specifically at those who participate in breeding and reproductive services, instruction, training, boarding, and showing
