One equine herpesvirus-1 (EHV-1) quarantine has been lifted after two horses previously stabled in Fédération Equestre Internationale (FEI) stabling at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center (PBIEC) tested negative for the disease Feb. 28.

According to a Feb. 28 statement from show organizers Equestrian Sport Productions (ESP), "the two horses tested for EHV-1 that were in FEI stabling at Palm Beach International Equestrian Center were found negative."

The two horses were tested after a horse from their home farm tested positive for EHV-1 via a blood test Feb. 27.

The quarantine on FEI stabling at PBEIC , which was set by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services in collaboration with ESP, has been lifted, the statement said
