Champion Rags to Riches, winner of the 2007 Belmont Stakes, delivered a Henrythenavigator colt March 17 in Ireland, where she is scheduled to be bred to Coolmore stallion Galileo.

Rags to Riches, the champion 3-year-old filly of 2007, became the first filly in 102 years to win the Belmont Stakes when she bested eventual horse of the year Curlin by a head.

Out of broodmare of the year Better Than Honour, Rags to Riches is a half sister to 2006 Belmont Stakes winner Jazil, 2008 Peter Pan Stakes winner Casino Drive, and 2009 Breeders’ Cup Marathon winner Man of Iron.

Purchased as a yearling by Coolmore for $1.9 million at the 2005 Keeneland September yearling sale, Rags to Riches is also the dam of a yearling filly by Giant’s Causeway
