Pulse Veterinary Technologies (PulseVet) recently acquired SANUWAVE’s veterinary division. PulseVet will now be responsible for VersaTron and EquiTron shock wave devices and products.

PulseVet’s Extracorporeal Shock Wave Technology (EWST) was first introduced for veterinary applications in 1999 with the EquiTron device. PulseVet has continued to remain in the field of shock wave technology with the development of its next generation system – the VersaTron for equine use.

VersaTron is non-invasive, shock wave treatment used for the management of many musculoskeletal disorders that cause pain and lameness in horses. It can be used in combination with anti-inflammatory drugs, surgical intervention, and physical therapy. Shock wave therapy can be beneficial when treating equine musculoskeletal disorders such as tendonitis, stable stress fractures, hock degenerative joint disease and sesamoiditis.  VersaTron is a cost-efficient, low maintenance system that offers customized treatment options.
