Jack, a 16-year-old Tennessee Walking Horse whose full name is Magic’s Cracker Jack, was being hauled by his owner to Tuskegee University’s vet school in Alabama yesterday morning (June 27) due to a mild case of colic when the trip took a turn for the worse. The trailer became unhooked from the vehicle and flipped four times, according to an article on montgomeryadvertiser.com. Jack was trapped in the trailer, which ended up on the door.
It took about an hour for the horse to be freed from the trailer.
Once freed, his owner brought in another trailer and hauled him on to the vet school, where he was reported to be in remarkably good condition, but was being kept overnight for observation
