The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine will hold its annual Open House on Saturday, April 14, for students considering careers in veterinary medicine. Visitors will attend information sessions that will introduce career opportunities in veterinary medicine, offer a 45-minute walking tour of the veterinary hospital, and present current first and second-year veterinary students.


The open house will last from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Lunch, and College of Veterinary Medicine merchandise, will be available for purchase throughout the day. There will also be an exciting demonstration by the Purina agility dogs as well as a petting zoo, weather permitting. After the open house, students are also invited to attend important educational sessions, which can be registered for here: https://cfaes.osu.edu/visit.


Interested attendees may include: high school and middle school students interested in careers in veterinary medicine, prospective applicants and their parents, alumni, and practitioners, as well as high school teachers and counselors.
