Kentucky Equine Research, Inc (KER) is holding its 15th Annual Nutrition Conference in Lexington, Kentucky on October 16-17, 2006. The theme of the conference is “From Foal to Finish–Factors Affecting the Production of the Equine Athlete.”

Producing a top athlete involves years of precise management during the growth and development period, and many factors can prevent a horse from reaching its full potential. Equine research teams around the world are focused on factors that affect the growth and development of a sound athlete. This year’s KER conference features several internationally-renowned scientists who are scheduled to present the latest research findings in growth, nutrition, management, and disease.
