  1. Yes, my gelding was diagnosed several years ago. He recovered but was never the same. His personality changed and he became somewhat spooky on the trail. This horse had done hundreds of miles of trail riding prior and had done many ACTHA competitions, showed english and western classes and even gaited dressage. He was a Rocky Mountain Gelding. I lost him last year at the age of 21. I got hims when he was 4.

  2. One of my horses was exhibiting intermittent lameness and lethargy. My vet was out for vaccinations and so he checked him over and couldn’t pinpoint the cause. He then mention testing for lymes disease. Sure enough he tested positive for lymes. We treated him and within a week he was a totally different horse. His lethargy and lameness disappeared.
