  1. I am now dealing with the 6th horse of mine to be diagnosed with PPID within the past 25 years. ALL of the symptoms listed can be signs of the disorder; sometimes all the signs will appear in the same horse, sometimes only one or two. In any event it is a heartbreaking diagnosis and very a very labor-intensive one to treat.
