Does anyone have any tips on how to let two stallions meet each other for the first time without rising injuries? (Please feel free to send them to me directly at nico.verboomen@telenet.be)
Where I board my horse he is turned out during the day in an all gelding herd of i want to say 8 or so.
My mare is an only horse, so she spends her time “alone”…except for her fan club of neighbors and their extended families. She knows how to “work a crowd”.
I have two mares that are turned out together 24/7.
24/7 not 14/7… oops!
We have 6 horses that are on 14/7 turnout together: 2 percherons, 3 haflingers, and a quarter horse.
We have two mare bands that are over 4 members each that are turned out with their other members. We also have two stallions that are turned out individually.
