Equine Veterinarians to Meet in Melbourne for Conference

More than 200 horse veterinarians will head to Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, for the southern hemisphere’s largest horse health conference, taking place July 14-18. The conference is hosted by Equine Veterinarians Australia (EVA), a special interest group of the Australian Veterinary Association.
Australian horse veterinarians will be joined by delegates from the United States, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom for the week-long conference.
During the week, speakers will present on areas including management and treatment of equine diseases, anemia, eye disorders, surgery, pain management, and other health issues relating to horses.
The program includes presentations from internationally recognized presenters including Larry Bramlage, DVM, MS, Dipl. ACVS; Debra Sellon, DVM, PhD, Dipl. ACVIM; Jean-Marie Denoix, DVM, PhD; Andrew Turner, BVSc (Hons.), MANZCVS, FANZCVS; and Simon Hurn, BVSc, MVS, MANZCVS, FANZCVS
