More charges have been filed against a man accused of neglecting several horses on a farm in northeast Iowa.


Kelly Olson of New Hampton, Iowa, was initially charged with animal neglect after officials found three dead horses and 18 malnourished ones on a farm near Hawkeye last week.


Olson was keeping the horses at the farm, which is owned by Terry Schott of Fredericksburg.


The Fayette County sheriff’s office says during that investigation, authorities received a tip that Schott illegally possessed a deer. Authorities found a deer carcass
