USA Equestrian President Alan F. Balch and U.S. Equestrian Team (USET) President Armand Leone
Jr. have announced that the Executive Committees of the two organizations have agreed in principle to a resolution of the equestrian governance matter that would result in a unified National Governing Body (NGB) for equestrian sports in the United States.
The organizations have been negotiating over the last several weeks in an attempt to resolve the issue. Details of the agreement, which would allow the sport to go forward in unity, will be made public following a proposed
formal ratification, which is to be considered after the first of the year.
