The Horse is excited to announce the formation of The Horse Media Group LLC. The Horse Media Group LLC has replaced Blood-Horse Publications as the publisher of The Horse: Your Guide To Equine Health Care, TheHorse.com, and related custom publishing products as of March 1, 2015. The Horse Media Group LLC is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association.
“The Horse has been a successful business unit under Blood-Horse Publications for many years, so it makes perfect sense to establish it as a stand-alone business,” said Marla Bickel, who has been the publisher of The Horse since 2010 and will remain publisher of The Horse Media Group LLC. “The same business philosophies that have made The Horse a success will continue to guide The Horse Media Group LLC.”
