Reward Offered in Pony Mutilation Case
Idaho authorities hope the offer of a $30,000 cash reward will help them find whoever is responsible for stealing and mutilating a Shetland pony.
Minidoka County, Idaho, Sheriff Eric Snarr said that on Sept. 5, someone stole a Shetland pony belonging to an owner in Rupert. The next day a neighbor reported seeing a blood trail on a nearby paved road. Deputies followed the trail to find the pony, which had sustained juries consistent with being dragged behind a vehicle.
“The pony also showed signs of being mutilated,” Snarr said
